Farm Bureau Financial Services in Thompson Falls has a new agent. Nicole Miller took over the business after Terri Stoltz retired at the end of 2021.

Miller stated the transition of taking over the business from Stoltz was easy. "Everything felt right. I believe everything happens for a reason." Miller started working with Stoltz in 2019 and then became a licensed agent, licensed in property, casualty and life insurance.

"I want to make sure my clients understand their options and the coverage and the information," Miller stated, adding that she is willing to help people even if they don't have a policy with her. "I will help anyone work through issues. It's about the relationships." She added that she can provide information and find what is best suited for her clients. "I want to make sure my clients are taken care of."

Miller said life insurance isn't just in case of death, but the benefits can also help in emergencies. "People don't realize that's there." She added that life insurance can help take away the financial burden of losing someone.

Farm Bureau also provides financial planning and investment services. "We want to make sure we have your assets protected as best we are able to," Miller stated. "It's an easy process to discuss protecting you and your family."

Miller said Farm Bureau Financial Services as a company is like a family. She went to Laramie for a training program in which she met with company executives and underwriters. "You're family, which is a huge plus for a large company. I've never experiences that before."

Miller describes herself as "very easy going and personable." She moved to Montana with her husband Steve and her sons Justin, a 2020 graduate of Thompson Falls High School, and Jakob, who is a freshman. "I fee like I'm on vacation every day," Miller said of why she loves Thompson Falls. Miller said working for Farm Bureau has brought her out into the community more and she looks forward to being more information.

Miller is licensed to provide insurance anywhere in Montana. She said she would like to grow the business throughout Sanders County and expand Farm Bureau's reach into Lincoln County as well.
