TF woman pleads not guilty to charges

A Thompson Falls woman pleaded not guilty to two charges resulting from a disturbance at her home. Debora Fratzke pleaded not guilty Tuesday before Judge John Larson, who was filling in for Judge Deborah “Kim” Christopher, to felony assault with a weapon and a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

According to charging documents, the Sanders County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a home on Harlow Road in Thompson Falls in February for reports of a disturbance. Fratzke told deputies that she had a gun, slipped and fell and the gun went off. The bullet reportedly went through the window of a man’s truck. He was not injured, according to charging documents. The Judge Larson set a trial date of August 15 for Fratzke.

Kurt Lamarr changed his plea during 20th District Judicial Court on Tuesday. Lamarr pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. He was arrested after a two-vehicle collision in November 2020 near Hot Springs.
