Whitefish Credit Union kicked off the Wednesday men’s league at River’s Bend with a solid four-point first-place lead. Mountain Plains, LLC, golfers Paul Flemmer, Ron Beaty, Rick Hagedorn and Bernie Groshong combined for the low gross of 177 last week, and Highlead’s Chadd Laws, Jesse Mosher, John Mosher and Steve Fairbank shot the low team net of 151. Hagedorn turned in the low individual gross of 40 and Bruce Sterling had the low net of 34.

In hole prizes, Mike Normandin had the longest drive on No. 18, Mike Baxter was closes to the pin in three on No. 11, Ben Mummert sank the long putt on No. 12, Rusty Sharp took that honor on No. 15, Hagedorn was closes to the pin on No. 14 and Fairbank was closest to the pin on No. 17.

Fairbank, Cody Daiutolo and Wally Gibe each had a chip-in on Wednesday.
