What qualities make you the best candidate for this position? I served in the Montana House of Representatives during the 2021 legislative session. Eight bills that I sponsored were passed into law. I presently serve on the Legislative Environmental Quality Council, the Montana GOP Executive Board and Rules Committee, and am also Chairman of the Sanders County Republican Party. My experience as a scientist and on various committees helps me to pay attention to details and be an EFFECTIVE, conservative representative for my constituents. I’ve done much work on election integrity and have been endorsed by Montana Family Foundation, Montanans for Limited Government, Montana Shooting Sports Association and the NRA.

NAME: Colleen Hinds

EDUCATION: I earned an A.D. in nursing in 1972 from Rochester J.C. in Rochester, Minnesota, affiliated with the Mayo Clinic. There has also been countless hours of continuing Ed, in nursing skills and leadership.

OCCUPATION: My first employer was the Houston V.A. in Texas specializing in spinal cord injury and neurosurgery. On moving to the Great Stae of Montana I started my career At Bonner General Hospital in Sandpoint,Idaho. The first sixteen years was “floor nursing” in ALL departments. The last twenty years I held the position of Hospital Nursing Supervisor, including the”whole house” on weekends and nights.

What qualities make you the best candidate for this position? Perseverance, Energy, Honest, Reasonable, and Sense of Humor; but most importantly I lead from my heart. Caring is my nature. Our Country is blessed with such abundance with enough for ALL, but I’m seeing greed take over share. I commit to showing an example sharing and compromise And connecting so we ALL go forward ,TOGETHER. Thank-you.
