Rain doesn't delay Over the Hill Gang

The Over the Hill Gang braved dark clouds and rain with an adventurous spirit in order to keep the ball in play Monday at River’s Bend. Mike Normandin played smart and took the low men’s gross with a score of 42 and Darrell “Torgy” Torgrimson the men’s low net of 33. Barb Wooden read the course well enough to claim the women's low gross with a 60 and Kristy Beaty clinched the low womens net with a 37 this week.

On the course Steve Fairbank crept the ball along to be closest to the pin on No.1 in 2 and Jens Jantzen sunk the long put on No. 2. With great finesse Dennis Gripp had the long put on No. 3 and Jill Fairbank had the longest putt on No. 14. Bruce Sterling was the closest to the pin on No.5 and Gripp locked in the long drive on No.6.

The longest putt on No. 6 went to Dave Petteys and Tom Holleran grabbed the longest putt on No. 7. Ron Beaty eased the ball along to claim the longest putt on No. 8 and smashed the longest drive on No. 9. Bary Moore made the longest putt on No. 9. Rounding out the day was Wooden with the longest drive on No.9.
