Ladies league golfers were fortunate to have had relatively clear skies and a nice bit of sunshine during Thursday play at River’s Bend last week. Sisters Chris Kelly and Kim Sparks shot the low team gross of 101 and Jeanne Holleran and Tina Wheeler posted the low team net of 73. Tina Wheeler snatched up the low individual gross with a 47 and Chris Kelly pocketed the low individual net with a 29.

In other Thursday action, Chris Kelly played a calculated game and went closest to the pin in four on No. 2 and Jeanne Holleran closed the long putt on No. 3. Katie Miller and Tina Wheeler sent out the longest drives during the round on No. 9.

Kelly Wheeler and Joni Mosher each dropped in a chip shot on No. 11 and Blair Brooks sank a chip shot on No.4.
