The Over the Hill Gang finished their final week of regular play at River’s Bend this week. The gang will now gather next Monday for a fun day and steak luncheon to celebrate the end of the season.

Dave Garr had the low men’s gross round of 42, and Ray Marshall the low net of 31. Garr also won the pay for par contest Monday. For the women, Lana Nolen shot the low gross of 50 and sank the long putt on No. 8, while Chris Gross had the low net of 40 and smashed the long drive on No. 9. John Torres had the only chip-in for the day, on No. 4, which he birdied in a fitting end to the season.

Chuck Manry had the long putt on No. 2, Gary Thompson on No. 3, Dennis Gripp on No. 4, Jerry Neal on No. 6, Charlie Hooten on No. 7 and Ron Beaty on No. 9. Sam Bernhardt was closest to the pin on No. 8 and Rusty Haggard took that honor on No. 5.
