The Plains Trotters broke into the win column Friday with a 55-38 victory over Darby in Darby.

Now 1-2 in non-conference play, coach Jessica Nagy and her Trotters begin their District 14C schedule playing at Charlo Friday. The Trotters will host rival Thompson Falls in another non-conference contest Tuesday.

Jessica Thompson scored 15 points and Kylee Altmiller 11 to lead the Trotters to the win at Darby, Lindsay Laws added nine points, Kara Altmiller seven, Haley Josephson and Brooklyn Stafford five apiece and AnaLisa Loberg three.

Peyton Muir scored 13 points for Darby and Casey Ehmann added 11.
