Wiley Wild Coyotes pace Wednesday night play

 


The wiley Wild Coyotes led the way as Ron’s Running Dinos were right on their heels in Wednesday Night Men’s League play last week. The Dinos had the last laugh, however, as they finished play for the night with the weekly league lead.

Jesse Mosher bagged low gross honors with a 39 and Bruce Sterling won low net to highlight action at River’s Bend last week.

Wild Coyote golfers Gary Thompson, Steve Clark, Howard Morkert and Dave Petteys claimed low team gross honors with a 174 and Ron’s Running men Dan Kier, Sterling, Marc Terrazas and Darrel “Torgy” Torgrimson took low net with a well-adjusted round of 148.

In hole play, Ryan Ostwald was closest to the pin in 3 on No. 2, Rusty Sharp shot down the long putt on No. 3, Jase Miller sank the long putt on No. 6, Bill Nolen was closest to the pot at the end of the rainbow on No. 8, Tyler Bates smashed the long drive on No. 9, and Wally Gibe hit the long 55+ drive on No. 9.


No chip-in shots were recorded by the Wednesday men last week.
