Youths should be proud

Letter to the Editor

I am writing today to send out thanks to the beautiful ladies at the Reflections Academy and I thought that the community should hear this shout out to the girls and the staff. I had the privilege of working with several of the students during the course of my two-year position as the Exalted Ruler (President) of the Clark Fork Valley Elks Lodge in Thompson Falls.

The girls come in and work hard, always with a smile on their face and with grace and manners. I wish we could bottle their work ethic and energy! The staff at Reflections Academy has been so very helpful in providing us with help that we would not be able to otherwise find. The Elks have some large events and with a staff of only a manager, a bartender and two additional assistants (and several unpaid volunteers), their help is invaluable. Ladies, you all should be very proud of yourselves. The customers constantly ask about you and have nothing but praise for your hard work. We just thought you should know that. You are truly a part of our community and your presence at the Elks functions is so appreciated. On behalf of the Elks Lodge, we just wanted to extend our gratitude for all that you do. THANK YOU!!!

Michelle Blackstone, Past Exalted Ruler

Clark Fork Valley Elks Lodge #2757
