It has come to our attention that there is to be another sewer board meeting this week. Apparently, the newly assembled folks on the board wish to re-introduce the community to this person who we are told represents Great West Engineering. Why they assume we need to be introduced to her again is beyond us. Having seen her on Zoom, we were left with the impression that she might be someone we would be unable to approach. However, it would appear that we are to deal with the very aggressive folks who intend to force their will on all of us yet again. We had come to believe that we would have at least a few weeks rest as we tried to recover from the last few months of aggression, bullying and harassment, which we were all subject to for the last two years. It would appear that we are now back to square one. It would seem that we are now going to have to listen to the demands of these people all over again.

We are wishing to protest both this meeting and the continued attempt to create a means to re-establish Bridger into this mess. This looks very much like a return to what we have already stated we did not want as part of the sewer project. We have already been told that the folks on the sewer board intended to find a different company to replace Great West. Now we are hearing that they intend to simply take up where they left off. If there are changes in the monetary bottom line, perhaps one or some of you might be able to clarify to this community exactly where the funds that already appear to be missing have gone? A little something that we would add is there is never a time that we, the people of this community, are not besieged with the constant pressure from you, the sewer board and the people that back you. It appears to be just for the money. If you have another agenda, perhaps you should show it now.

We wonder if you folks on that somewhat non-producing and pretty much non-existent sewer board have a clear understanding of how much damage you have done to this community. You have taken away our right for peace. We never get a moment when we can enjoy living here in this beautiful little town because of the ugly cloud that you hold over us. We can no longer enjoy our fellow citizens. There is a gap between us. Friendships have been destroyed. Some will never be repaired. We would like to remind those of you on this sewer board that your actions or behaviors have completely destroyed any respect we may have had for you, and we all have to live here. Bear in mind, most of us have long memories.

In closing, why do we need either Bridger or Great West? We were told by Terry Caldwell that a “new sheriff was in town,” and things would be changed and taken care of. What happened? We do wish him well.
