A local team grabbed the top spot in their bracket at Spokane's annual Hoopfest tournament last weekend. On the team were (from left) Beau Neal of Florence (brother of Thompson Falls coach Jake Mickelson), and Jesse Claridge, Kade Pardee and Nathan Schraeder of Thompson Falls.

Blue Hawk wrestler Max Hannum competed for Team Montana last week at the Disney National Duals in Orlando. Hannum wrestled in 12 duals, winning seven of them.

Recent Thompson Falls grad Trae Thilmony played in the East West Shrine Game in Great Falls.The all-star football game has been played since 1947. The west beat the east 40-21.
