Hawks, Devils find success in Libby

Thompson Falls and Noxon took to the road taking on the Libby invite with six other schools: Browning, Libby, Ronan, Bigfork, Eureka and Troy.

Starting off for the Blue Hawks in the 100 meter race was Braxton Dorscher who took sixth place with his time of 11 seconds. His brother Teagan Dorscher came behind with 13.14, with Kolton Oden coming in with 13 seconds. Dorscher also ran the 200 meters, getting a time of 25 seconds, and Braedon Ferris came in behind Dorscher with a time of 25.75. Ethan Geisbusch ran in at 26.6, with Teagan Dorscher close behind crossing the finish line in 27.1, Oden running in at 27.8, and Devon Garrett crossing at 28.29. Braedon Ferris led Thompson in the 400 meters with a stunning time of 57 seconds, Ian Myers close behind with a time of 57.70, Braxton Dorscher behind with a time of 58.93, Garrett getting a time of 1:06, and Oden close behind getting a time of 1:07. Kaleb Vanek rounded it out for the Hawks with a time of 1:11. Ian Myers led for Thompson in the 800 meters with a time of two minutes 24 seconds. Chase Helvey came behind him crossing the finish line in 2:31, and Vanek followed with a stunning time of 3:01. It was no surprise that senior Cael Thilmony led in the men's 1600 meters with his impressive time of five minutes nine seconds. Blake Shusterman came behind with a time of 6:07. Thilmony also led in the 3200 meters with an impressive new season best time of 11 minutes four seconds, while Shusterman came in with a new personal record with his time of 11:38. Ethan Geisbusch led in the 300 meter hurdles with his time of 51 seconds. Geisbusch, Teagan Dorscher, Thilmony and Helvey was the men's 4 by 400 relay team getting a time of four minutes, and five seconds.

Trinity Riffle led for the Lady Hawks in the 100 meters with her time of 13 seconds. Riffle would also get first place in the 200 meters with her fabulous time of 28.96, with Addyson Deal behind her with a stunning time of 14.5.Ellyonna Vild got a grand time of 16.49, and Allyeska Vild was behind her with her time of 17.01. Aubrey Baxter led for Thompson in the 400 meters, getting third place with her time of one minute, seven seconds. Allyeska Vild came behind her with her time of 1:21. Peighton Kenney took sixth place in the 800 meter race with her impressive time of three minutes, three seconds. Deal, Kenney, Baxter, and Riffle would get second place in the 4 by 400 relay with their time of four minutes, 47 seconds.

For the Red Devils, in the 100 meters Owen Ramsey led with his time of 12 seconds, Bran Parrish behind with a time of 14.72. Chance McDaid led in the 200 meters with his stunning time of 25 seconds, and Parrish crossed behind him with a time of 31.05. McDaid took sixth place in the 400 meters with his time of 56 seconds, Parrish behind with his time of 1:14. Shane Murray ran the 800 meters for Noxon, getting a time of two minutes, 31 seconds. McDaid got a stunning time of five minutes 46 seconds for his 1600 meter race. Shane Hatchel was the only runner for the 110 meter hurdles taking first with his time of 21 seconds.

Maygan Swanson led for the Noxon girls in the 100 meter run, with her time of 15 seconds, Emma Swanson behind her with a time of 15.8, and Natasha Fisher crossed the finish line at 16.7. Maygan Swanson once again led for the Red Devils in the 200 meter race with her time of 32 seconds, Patience Morris came in behind her with a time of 34.13, while Emma Swanson and Jillian Shell each crossed the finish line with a time of 34.41 Seanna Richter finished for Noxon with a time of 35.42. Georgia Boehme took second with her 800 meter time of three minutes 25 seconds, and also took fourth in the 1600 meters JV with a time of 7:54. Natasha Fisher ran in the 100 meter hurdles for the Red Devils earning a time of 23 seconds, while getting a time of 1:17 for her 300 meter hurdles. Morris, Richter, and both Swanson sisters made up the 4 by 400 relay team, earning their time of 5 minutes, 11 seconds beautifully.

Braedon Ferris had a big throwing day, earning state qualifications for his discus throw of 140 feet seven inches, James Schmidt behind with a throw of 99'9", with Zack Ames close behind with a throw of 98'10". Ferris also led for the Hawks in shot put throwing an impressive 38 feet, with Ames behind with a throw of 37'2". Rounding it out for Thompson was Schmidt's throw of 34' 2.25. Ian Myers threw a majestic 135 feet for the Javelin, with Schmidt behind with his throw of 96'4", and Ames throwing an 85'4".

For Noxon Owen Ramsey got an impressive throw of 37 feet, 11 inches for shot put, while Shane Murray came in behind with his throw of 33'10.75", and Kade Hill rounded it out for the Red Devils with a throw of 32'5.25". Hill threw a new personal record in discus with a throw of 96 feet, three inches, with Ramsey behind throwing 82'10. Murray took fifth place for his 136 feet nine inch throw of the Javelin.

Serenity Barrus proved her hand throwing a massive 22 feet seven inches in shot put for Thompson, with Amaya Harmon behind her throwing 16'. Barrus also threw the discus earning a throw of 63 feet two inches, while Harmon came behind with her throw of 37'9". Addyson Deal took third place for her incredible 101 feet 10 inch throw of the javelin, Peighton Kenney came behind with an impressive throw of 70'5", while Barrus threw a 62'11". Harmon came behind her with a throw of 52'3".

Natasha Fisher led for the Red Devils with her throw of 19 feet, 2 inch in shot put, while Emma Tweed came in behind with her throw of 21'5", and Jillian Shell rounding it out with her throw of 20'.05". Maygan Swanson led in the discus earning a throw of 71 feet, three inches, while Fisher was behind getting 53'5".

Braxton Dorscher proved his hops by earning a long jump of 18 feet, eight inches. His brother Teagan came in close behind with a jump of 16'9".

Ellyonna Vild got a long jump of 11 feet 1 inch, while Aubrey Baxter got a spectacular 29'7.5" for her triple jump, with Deal behind her jumping 29'5.75".

Trinity Riffle showed her strong legs, taking first in the high jump at four feet 10 inches. Deal cleared seven feet in pole vault, while Kenney cleared 6'.
