    Fresh off a state championship in the Class B/C 8-player bracket of the Montana High School Association (MHSA), the Blue Hawk football team was notified this week that they will be moving up a division in 2022. MHSA met Monday to discuss redistricting and decided that Thompson Falls will move back to 11-player football for the 2022 season.     With the high school football season over, Sanders County athletes were recently named to the state all-conference and all-state teams. In Class C 6-Man, seniors Kyle Lawson and Jack McAllister of Hot Springs were named to the all-state team, while Noxon seniors Cade VanVleet and Nathan Cano earned all-conference honors.     The Plains Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 3596 was formed in 1939 and began sending care packages at the beginning of World War II. Every year since, the group has been sending packages to soldiers overseas during the holidays.     I love yard sales. One of my favorite things to do is to walk around collections of old stuff to see what I can find. I have found that something I tend to do is stop and look at paintings. Of all the things in the sale, these are probably my favorite.
