And away we go with Wednesday night men’s league golf action at River’s Bend for another year of links fun and competition.
Playing through on a play-night to kick off the season, the Wild Coyote team posted the low team gross of 30 just for fun. Scott Pardee, Kevin Sparks, Howard Morkert and Gary Thompson were packing the clubs for Wild Coyote Wednesday.
In other doings around the bend, Ryan Ostwald dropped in the long putt on No. 6 and was closest to the pin off the tee on No. 8, Bruce Sterling stuffed the cup with the long putt on No. 3, Shawn Morgan was closest to the flag on No. 5, Jesse Mosher smashed the long drive on No. 9 and Morkert hit the other long drive, the one for those travelling at 55 or greater, on No. 9.
Mike Gilmore and Thompson each scored chip-ins on No. 9.
