Double H Dirt tamps down competition

 


Double H Dirt Works doubled down on the links competition and jumped back into the league lead in Tuesday Night Men’s League play at River’s Bend last week.

With Scott Pardee, Jake Helvey, Tom Kirkland and Ty Pardee doing the swinging, the Double H Dirt guys shot the low team net of 139. Team Feed-N-Fuel – Dave Petteys, Steve Clark, Doug Gunderson and Mike Gillmore – shot the low team gross of 178.

Cody Mosher carded the low individual gross of 39 while Kirkland factored in his handicap to arrive at the low net of 32.

In other Tuesday night action, Clark was closest to the pin in 3 on No. 2, Scott Pardee ran in the long putt on No. 3, Bill Nolen was doubly good on the par threes, ending up closest to the pin off the tee on Nos. 5 and 8, Rick Hagedorn converted the long putt on No. 6, Doug Czerwinski smashed the long drive on No. 9 and Gillmore hit the long 55+ drive on No. 9, just as he would do again in Wednesday Night Men’s League play the next night.

Gentleman Jesse Mack scored a chip-in shot on No. 3, Charlie Hooten got one down on No. 8, and Hagedorn and Shaun Wilkinson both converted from off the green on No. 9.
