SUE APODACA, Plains – “My best fishing story is that when we first moved here, I actually caught a once-in-a- lifetime really big fish.”

ALEX WHITE, Thompson Falls — “Fishing to me is a mood thing. I went fishing under the high bridge and slid all the way down cutting my leg. I never went fishing again.”

ALLISON BUESE, visiting from California – "My husband is coming up to Thompson Falls with friends and when they get here, they will all go fishing.”

KIM SUTHERLAND, Thompson Falls – “I have a lot of fishing stories. I used to live in California. We used to go out during the day with family and friends and get worms, then go out at night and fish.”

JARED MELLOTT, Trout Creek – “The worst fish story is when you don’t get to go fishing.”

JOANN MATHERS, Thompson Falls – "When I was a kid, we had a big family (10 kids) and we would go down to Colorado to a river. We had to move boulders to get the truck on by. We would camp out for a week to go fishing. We did that every year.”
