With the District 14C tournament now less than a week away, coach Cortney Vohs and her Noxon Lady Red Devils will finish regular season play this week, visiting Clark Fork in Superior Thursday and hosting Hot Springs in Noxon Saturday.
The Devils lost a pair of conference games last week, losing to St. Regis in St. Regis Friday and falling 51-32 to Plains in Noxon Saturday.
Vohs was impressed with what she saw from the Plains Trotters. “They really played a lot better this time,” she said referring to a Noxon victory in Plains several weeks ago. “They played with an intensity they didn’t have in the first game.”
Avery Burgess scored 12 points and cleared seven rebounds to lead the Lady Devils against Plains, Riley Richter was good for 10 points and 10 rebounds, Emily Brown for eight points and six rebounds and Chelsea Vohs for two points.
