The Edward Jones team of Jesse Mack, Ed Mack, Bruce Sterling, Carter Meyer and Ryan Craven invested heavily in teamwork and their investment paid off. The Edward Jones team won the Play Day Scramble with a score of 31 during Tuesday night men’s league play at River’s Bend last week.
Howard Morkert dropped in the long putt on No. 12. Bob Brown made the ball scoot and was the closest to the pin on No. 14 and Chuck Manry locked in the longest putt on No. 15. Doug Fisher crept the ball along and claimed closest to the pin on No. 17 and Ryan Craven and Bob Brown knocked out the long drives of the night on No. 18.
Successful chip shots were plentiful during Wednesday evening play. Gary Thompson laid down a chip shot on No. 10 and Ryan Craven dropped one in on No. 12. Ben Mummert and Gary Thompson both shot and landed chip-ins, Mummert on No. 13 and Thompson on No. 17.
