Aubrey Erwin scored eight points and Emma Swanson hooped four and had four steals. Abby Yoder got the most steals of the game with six.

At last Thursday's home game, fans and players alike were blown away by Erwin's performance of the Star-Spangled Banner to commence the game against Two Eagle River. "She's amazing," said Coach Courtney Vohs.

"The girls were happy to win both games. They felt like the Two Eagle game was rough, as far as physical contact, but were proud of themselves for fighting through it," said Vohs. Noxon claimed victory over the Eagles 51-33. At the get-go both teams played great defense and were offensively on the ball, the half ended at 21-18, with Noxon in the lead.

In the third quarter Noxon was up by 10 and kept up the fight in the fourth, gaining stamina for the win. "They are gaining that confidence to know when they are open to take a shot. Defensively they are stopping the ball when it needs to be stopped," Vohs said.

Brown led the team with 30 points and Richter racked up nine. Farrah Ushia and Yoder reaped four steals each. Brown made ten rebounds, Richter eight and Swanson six to wrap up the win.

The Noxon boys made short order of Alberton, winning 56-23. Coach Mike Benson said they were able to give junior varsity players more playing time. They had a 18-0 lead in the first quarter and just kept blazing ahead. Justice Kayser was the lead scorer with 11 points, nine of which were three-pointers. Ricky Williams and Aiden Curry both netted nine points with Curry making nine rebounds. Shooting eight points was Brian Risch and racking up seven points was Shane Murray. Overall the Red Devils shot 54% to Albertons 20% from the free-throw line.

The Red Devils had tougher competition against Two Eagle River. The score was 22-22 and the Eagles shot a three-pointer at the buzzer making it 25-22 at the half. In the third quarter the Eagles began to dart ahead despite Williams shocking them with his slam-dunk attempt. Two Eagle River swept over Noxon 55-37. Kayser and Murray both scored nine points. Williams hooped six, Risch and Curry shot five points and Sam Christensen banked three points. The team shot 26% of their free-throws.
