Pickleball group plans ATV run

The Plains Pickleball Association is planning an ATV fundraiser this weekend. The money will be used to build six pickleball courts for the community.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. at the Wild Horse Plains Golf Course, and the route will continue to McGinness Creek Meadows, then Forest Service Road 519, Smiley Creek and back to the golf course. A dinner and live music by Spa City Sound, as well as silent and live auctions, will follow at 5 p.m. at the golf course. Entry fee is $40 and includes dinner. Price for dinner and music only is $20 per person, $35 per couple, $10 for children age 5-12 and free for 4 and under. Seating is limited for dinner so the association asks the community to bring chairs.
