Chip-ins run in the family

Katie Miller learned from the best, (see article above about her dad Dave Petteys) as she had the only chip-in for ladies league last week at River's Bend, putting a long one in on No. 4.

Jeanne Holleran and Tina Wheeler combined for the low team gross of 99 while Danice Toyias and Kristy Beaty had the low net round of 68. Wheeler also had the low individual gross round of 46 and Toyias the low net of 32 (and the long putt on No. 3.

As if that wasn't enough, Wheeler also was closest to the pin in four on No. 2 and had one of the long drives on No. 9, with Annie Wooden taking that honor for those 54 and under. Beaty was closest to the pin on No. 8, Chris Kelly's drive was closest on the grene on No. 5 and Barb Petteys sank the long putt on No. 6.
