SHARING WARMTH - Members of the Flat Iron Quilting Guild create unique quilts to give to Sanders County residents undergoing cancer treatment.

The Flat Iron Quilting Guild, in conjunction with the Cancer Network of Sanders County, is attempting to provide a handcrafted quilt to people in our county undergoing cancer treatment.

There is a need for approximately 100 quilts per year. The Flat Iron guild is a small, local group of 18 talented ladies. But having a small group makes generating enough quilts a challenge.

Quilters who want to contribute can supply lap robe sized quilts, (completed or unfinished) quilt tops, blocks, batting, fabric or anything else they feel can help the effort. The group will complete unfinished quilts, or quilters can join them.

If you would like to join the group or donate to the effort, contact Joyce Reeser at 827-3608, Ella Larson at 827-1938 or Donna Abrams at 826-1462 or visit them on Facebook - Flatironquiltingguild.
