The Hot Springs boys scored 13 team points and the Lady Savage Heat one in the varsity portion of the Thompson Falls Invitational track and field meet in Thompson Falls Thursday.

Although coach Bethany White’s Savage Heat athletes did not score a lot of points in the varsity meet, Hot Springs athletes also took advantage of the junior varsity meets that were run concurrently to the varsity proceedings in Thompson Falls.

In the varsity meet, Tyler Carr placed third in both relay races and Kawika Ilac took sixth in the 110 hurdles for the boys, while Elena McAllister placed sixth in the 100 meter hurdles for the girls.
