Lady Devils to host senior-less senior night

It will be a senior-less senior night for the Noxon Lady Red Devils in Noxon Saturday.
Hosting the Lincoln Lynx in a non-conference game to complete the regular season, coach Cortney Vohs and her Devils will not have any seniors to fete, not this year or anytime soon.
“We are a very young team, we don’t have any seniors,” Vohs said. “In fact, we even have a few eighth graders on our team.”
The Devils will warm up for their senior-less senior night by visiting Plains for a District 14C conference game with the Trotters Friday.
In action last week, the Devils fell 66-43 to the No. 6 ranked Hot Springs Savage Heat in Hot Springs Saturday.
The Devils fell into a 17-4 hole in the first quarter of that game and could never recover.
“It was not our best effort of the season,” Vohs offered. “We are breaking the press more consistently is one good thing we got out of the game, but we can play better.”
