Legendary Dinos master the Bend

Ron’s Running Dinos kept lumbering along in first place in Wednesday Night Men’s League action at River’s Bend last week as the other teams continued to flail away behind the slow-moving fairway beasts.

Led by Randy Hagedorn, who blistered the Bend with the low individual gross of 41, Hagedorn Land Surveying (also including Ryan Ostwald, Paul Flemmer and Ricky Hagedorn) collected low team gross honors with a 170.

Moore Oil golfers John Torres, Larry Eddy, Bary Moore and Gary Moe used their miniscule handicaps to arrive at the low team net of 150.

Marc Terrazas shot the low individual net of 33.

In hole play, Randy Hagedorn was closest to the pin in 3 on No. 2, Jesse “The Legend” Mack added more lore to his story with the long putt on No. 3, Torres was closest to the pin off the tee on No. 5, Bill Nolen was golden with the long putt on No. 6, Wally Gibe was closest to the pin on No. 8, and Ben Mummert ripped the long drive on No. 9.

Jesse Mosher made a chip-in shot on No. 17 and Darrel “Torgy” Torgrimson downed one in front of the clubhouse on No. 18.

The standings:

Ron’s Running Dinos 72.5

Moore Oil 66.5

Whitefish CU 62

Ty’s 61

Wild Coyote 59.5

First Security Bank 57
