Photographer to present snowy owl history

Following the entertainment trend of virtual events, Kaniksu Land Trust (KLT) is hosting an online presentation featuring award-winning photographer and author Paul Bannick, a wildlife aficionado. The event, in which Bannick will personally present photos and experiences from his newly released book, “Snowy Owl – A Visual Natural History,” will take place Tuesday, February 16 at 7 p.m., according to a KLT press release.

“If your average picture is worth a thousand words, a Paul Bannick wildlife photograph is worth 20,000,” stated Ted Williams, an award-winning wildlife journalist.

Tickets for the virtual event can be purchased online at http://www.kaniksulandtrust.org for $5. For more information, contact KLT at (208) 263-9471 or [email protected]. KLT is a nonprofit organization devoted to connecting communities of north Idaho and northwest Montana to their natural surroundings.
