We have to agree, the newspaper’s political agenda is ironically polarizing. The media is Anti-Trump, strictly TDS, Trump Derangement Syndrome. We love the usage of “Whataboutism” as a recent letter to the editor proclaims. That technique is called “Projection,” accusing the other side of the very same things that they are quite guilty of doing!

Always the liberal left claims President Trump has lied many times without ever citing a single truthful example. Likewise, they say he has tried to overturn the election results and again without a single credible source outside of their captive media. Some will remember that former Democrat aspirants for the presidency have never acknowledged and actively fought the presidency of Donald Trump for four years. The Women’s Pink Hat March after the 2016 election comes to mind! Libs claim there was a RIOT on January 6 supposedly incited by the outgoing president. None of his speech could remotely be interpreted as “attack the Capitol.” What’s more, video has proven that the Capitol Police encouraged and allowed supposed protesters (Antifa/BLM in disguise?) into the building.

Interestingly enough, a minority of Sanders County residents seem to get lots of print exposure. Former educators (who were likely brainwashed by their professors) and washed up politicians spout their views endlessly as they “The Elite” know what is best for the good hard working majority of the county.

Proof of the pudding is that there are no ringing endorsements of the current White House Resident’s attempts to bypass the elected congress with endless Executive Orders. Remember the continued finger pointing of President Obama’s eight-year condemnation of President Bush!

Don’t even try saying that Conservatives are violating the Constitution! Look at HR1 and tell me that is intended to make our elections fair and free of fraud.

We are old enough to remember when the media, whether it was print or broadcast, TRUTHFULLY reported events without any attempt to influence people’s opinions. Of course, now that never happens, even in this paper as opinions are the underlying political agenda.
