First Security Bank makes move in Wednesday play

 


Highlead still leads the standings, but First Security Bank (Ben Mummert, Bill Nolen, Michael Scharfe and Dan Whittenburg) shot the low team gross of 169, and TRL (Rusty Sharp, Shawn Morgan, Gene Wooden and Jay Dowell) the low team net of 136 in Wednesday Night Men’s League play last week.

Ryan Ostwald shot the low individual gross of 37 while Chuck Manry used his handicap to arrive at the low individual net of 29.

In other Wednesday highlights, the legendary Jesse Mack was the man closest to the pin in 3 on No. 2 and shot down the long putt on No. 3, Rick Hagedorn was closest to the pin on No. 5, Whittenburg converted the long putt on No. 6, Ryan Cravens was closest to the pin off the tee on No. 8, Ostwald ripped the long drive on No. 9 and Mummert hit the long 55+ drive on No. 9.

Kevin Sparks, Craven and Manry all made chip-in shots last week.
