Quik Stop takes over Tuesday night lead

 


Noxon Quik Stop golfers slipped past Montana’s Best Builders and into the Tuesday Night Men’s League lead last week at River’s Bend. Quik Stop finished the evening of play with 152 points while the Best Builders are now one point back at 152.

In other Tuesday action Feed-N-Fuel linksters Gary Thompson, Mike Normandin, Ryan Ostwald and Kelly Kovarik joined forces to shoot the low team gross of 179 while Internet Kitchen players Carter Meyer, Don Lake, David Reedy and the Unknown Golfer teamed up to shoot the low net of 138.

Brian Foster captured low individual gross honors with a 39 and Howard Morkert scored the low individual net of 32.

In hole play, Steve Fairbank put his ball closest to the pin in 3 on No. 2, Tom Holleran shot down the long putt on No. 3, Ty Pardee was closest to the pin off the tee on No. 5, Russ Yeager converted the long putt on No. 6, Kovarik crushed the long drive on No. 9, and Morkert was closest to the pin on No. 8 and smashed the long 55+ drive on No. 9.

Ron Beaty (No. 4) and Scott Pardee (No. 7) were the only two Tuesday golfers to score chip-in shots last week.
