Something for everyone at auction

The Huckleberry Festival will conduct another fun-filled auction presented by Kevin Hill Auction service at this year’s festival. The generosity of over 100 local businesses and individuals has been terrific, according to auction organizer Liz Ugorcak, with donations coming in from Trout Creek, Thompson Falls, Plains, Noxon, Bull River, Heron, Libby, Troy, Clark Fork, Sandpoint and Missoula.

Additionally, there will be over 80 festival vendors providing works of art and crafts to be auctioned off. The generosity of those who donate and the support of every bidder make it possible to carry on this wonderful tradition of the Huckleberry Festival, Ugorcak said.

The Auction begins at the performance stage in the Trout Creek Park on Saturday, August 12th at 4 p.m. Signup and viewing is at 3:30 p.m. Payment will be collected at the end of the auction via cash or check only.

The festival is seeking volunteers to help set up tables and display donations, as well as individuals to walk items around during the bidding. To volunteer, contact Ugorcak at (425) 275-2383.
