Hot Springs, Noxon, Plains compete in Missoula

Hot Springs, Noxon, and Plains joined 24 other schools for the Seeley Swan invite in Missoula for a beautiful Saturday filled with track and field.

In the 100 meter race Wyatt Campbell from Hot Springs earned a grand time of 13 seconds, Samson Jakabosky behind at 13.64, and Robert Setters with 14.94. David Chapman crossed the finish line in the 200 meter race with a stunning time of 24 seconds, Jakabosky with 28.17, and Setters with 31.59. In the 1600 meter Savage Heat senior Elijah Campbell earned a time of five minutes, 15 seconds, Wesley Adams behind with 5:20, and Wyatt Cammpbell with 5:39. Elijah Campbell earned a time of 12 minutes, 10 seconds in the 3200 meter, while Wyatt Campbell got 12:40. Chapman earned third place in the 110 meter hurdles with his time of 16 seconds, while Ben Alidrdge crossed with 18.91. Chapman kept his momentum headed into the 300 meter hurdles taking fifth with his time of 44 seconds, with Ben Aldridge behind with 47.20 and Wesley Adams finishing with 52.30.

Kora Hensrude ran the women's 100 meter in 15 seconds with Ava Bouquet behind with 16.27. In the 200 meter Kara Christensen crossed the finish line with a time of 29 seconds, Hensrude with 30.93, and Bouquet with 34.57.

Christensen ran the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 18 seconds, and the 300 meter hurdles in 52.33.

David Chapman threw a grand throw of 39’2” in the shot put, while Calvin Timmer threw 27’4”, and Saul Gonzalez threw 19’5”. Gonzalez threw the discus for Hot Springs throwing 55’3”. In javelin, Ben Aldridge threw an impressive 105’7”, Samson Jakabosky throwing 92’3”’, Calvin Timmer with 89’9”, and Robert Setters with 74’4”. Chapman jumped a massive 17’10” for the Savage Heat in long jump, Ben Aldridge with 16’10”, Wesley Adams with 15’8.5”, Timmer with 14’8”, and Jakabosky with 14’5”. Elijah Campbell triple jumped 30’3” for Hot Springs.

Georgia Uski made top 10 in the women's shot put with her throw of 27’10”, Kora Hensrude behind with 22’9”. Two Savage Heat women made top 10 for the discus: Uski took sixth place with her throw of 89’6”, with Christensen taking eighth with 89’2” and Ava Bouquet with 45’3”. In the javelin Christensen threw a mighty throw of 96’4”, Hensrude with 68’4”, Kandra Crane with 59’8”, and Bouquet with 49’8”. Crane would be the only Hot Springs girl to high jump, jumping 4’. Hensrude took on the long jump, earning 13’1”.

For the Red Devils in the 100 meter, Ricky Williams earned a new personal best with his time of 12 seconds, Owen Ramsey with 12.58, Chance McDaid with 12.75, Shamus Wheeldon with 12.99, and Bran Parrish with 14.15. McDaid ran the 200 meter race in 25 seconds, and Parrish ran in 29.72. McDaid earned a time of 57 seconds for the men's 400 meter, with Williams earning 59.14, and Parrish earning 1:14. Shane Hatchel would be the only Red Devil to take on the 110 meter hurdles earning a time of 20 seconds. Hatchel would also run the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 51.14.

Maygan Swanson earned a time of 15 seconds for the 100 meter race, with Natasha Fisher behind with 16.88. Maygan also ran the 200 meter getting a time of 31 seconds, her sister Emma Swanson behind with 32.72. Maygan would be the only Red Devil to take on the 400 meter earning a grand time of 1.13. Fisher ran in the 100 meter hurdles getting a time of 24 seconds. Fisher also ran the 300 meters earning a time of 1:16.

Owen Ramsey threw shot put for Noxon with 39’6”, Ricky Williams with 36’7”, Kade Hill 33’10”, and Shane Murray with 32’11”. Williams threw the discus with a throw of 101’11”, Ramsey with 95’7”, Kade Hill with 91’11”, and Murray with 87’4”. Murray threw the javelin for Noxon earning 135’11”, Chance McDaid with 96”11’. Williams took first place for high jump with his jump of 6’3”, Shane Hatchel with 5”2’.

Emma Tweed threw 21’ for shot put for Noxon, Natasha Fisher followed with 19’4”. Maygan Swanson threw 69’7" for the discus, Fisher with 45”5’. Tweed threw the javelin for the Red Devils throwing 33’10”.

In the men's 100 meter race, Nicholas Hill from Plains earned a time of 11 seconds, with John Thurston behind with 11.96, Zander Czifro with 12.37, Matthew Thurston with 12.97, and Max Baxter with 14.55. Nicholas Hill earned a time of 24 seconds in the 200 meter, John Thurston crossing close behind with a time of 24.89, Czifro with 25.11, Matthew Thurston with 27.05, and Jack Cockrell with 28.69. For the 400 meter race, Greg Tatum crossed in 58 seconds, Aiden Silva with 59.06, Mike Restroffer with 1:00.69 and teammate Kalem Ercanbrack crossing with 1:00.96. Joseph Martin finished in the top 10 for the 800 meters with his time of 2 minutes 12 seconds, and Asher Seymour finished with 2:47. Konrad Maicher earned a time of 5:55 for the men's 1600 meter, with Seymour behind with 5:57. Reistofer ran the 3200 meter race in 11:28, Ercanbrack with 12:07. Cody West took on the 300 meter hurdles getting a time of 45 seconds, Brenden Vanderwall behind with 43.37. Trizten Avila, Nicholas Hill, Darren Standeford, and Greg Tatum made up the men's 4 by 100 relay team earning fifth place with their time of 45 seconds. Standeford, Joseph Martin, Tatum and Czifro made the 4 by 400 relay team earning a time of 3:51.

For the women, Aly Roy earned a time of 14 seconds for the 100 meter, Amy Hill behind with 15.27. Roy earned a time of 30 seconds for her 200 meter race, Ireland Corbin with 32.12, and Amy Hill with 32.27. In the 1600 meters, Peyton Wasson earned a time of 6:16. Marina Tulloch took first place in the 3200 meters with her stunning time of 11:58. Amy Hill earned a time of 20 seconds for the 100 meter hurdles, while Kalli Tuma earned a time of 53 seconds for the 300 meter hurdles, with Katelyn Subatch behind crossing with 54.42. Tuma, Amy Hill, Corbin, and Roy made the women's 4 by 100 relay team earning a time of 56 seconds. Tuma, Wasson, Ferlan and Subatch were the women's 4 by 400 relay team earning eighth with their time of 4:37.

Brenden Vanderwall threw 36’6” for shot put, Kaein Jurek with 31’6.5”, Kylan Bostick with 31’6”, Gabe Rasmussen with 31’4.5”, and Will Tatum with 28’1”. Darren Standeford threw 100’4” in discus, Vanderwall with 96’10”, Will Tatum with 90’1”, Jurek with 78’9”, and Rasmussen with 72’1”. Joseph Martin threw the javelin for the Horsemen getting 141’3”, Geg Tatum with 117’7”, Konrad Maicher with 112’8”, Cody West with 99’”, and Jack Cockrell with 78’3”. Cooper Meredith earned 5’4” for his high jump, while clearing 16 feet for the pole vault.

Alexis Deming took first place with her shot put throw of 39’7.5”, then taking first place with her discus throw of 124’7”. Mackenzie Tulloch’s shot put earned 23”3’, Ireland Corbin with 221’5”. Mackenzie threw 65”5’ in discus, and Corbin threw 53’. Jaycee Carr threw 58’7” in the javelin for Plains. Katelyn Subatch cleared 4’ in the high jump. Aly Roy jumped 12’3” for long jump, while clearing 28’7” for triple jump.
