The ladies league golfers started competition last week at River’s Bend. Low team gross went to Megan Baxter and Doree Thilmony with a 99, and Penny Beckman and Ruth Kronfuss had the low individual net of 69. Baxter’s individual round of 46 garnered low gross honors, while Kronfuss had the low individual net round of 33.

Annie Wooden had the long putt on No. 3, Chris Gross was closest to the pin on No. 5, Lana Nolen closest to the pin on No. 8, Chris Kelly and Tina Wheeler smashed the long drives on No. 9 and Barb Petteys had a chip-in on No. 7.
