Lady Hawks fight the good fights, but fall to Trotters and Trojans

The Lady Hawks fought the good fight each night out but fell to Plains 44-31 in Plains Dec. 19 and to Troy 48-36 in Troy Thursday.

Coach Doree Thilmony and her Lady Hawks will now practice over the holidays, returning to official action playing Loyola in Missoula Tuesday, Jan. 2.

Sarah Detlaff paced the Hawks against Plains with eight points, Megan Baxter added seven, Haley Morgan six, Jody Detlaff five, Riley Wilson and Belle Cooper two apiece and Maya Stiles one.

At Troy Thursday, Baxter led the Lady Hawks with nine points, Morgan scored eight, Stiles six, and Sarah Detlaff, Wilson and Faith Frields two apiece.

Allie Coldwell ripped the nets for 31 points to lead the Lady Trojans, and Aurora Becquart and Grace Dolan added six each.
